Posted by HTC Reviewer on February 24, 2012 in HTC News

Pocketnow exposed HTC One X official image today.

It seems HTC One X has similar design style to other HTC smart phones, while except volume and power button, there is no physical button on this phone, so its the first non physical key full touch smart phone in HTC products.

HTC One X will be equipped with a 4.7-inch touch screen, supporting 720p HD resolution. It uses Tegra3 quad-core processor. This CPU has four main cores and a co-processor. The overall performance Tegra3 is five times of current Tegra 2. With the support of ARM MPE media processing engine, the 1080p Full HD video decoding capabilities are greatly enhanced.

HTC One X has 1GB RAM and 32GB ROM capacity. It runs on Android 4.0 operating system, and will be equipped with the latest HTC Sense 4.0 interface. HTC will introduce it on MWC2012 which is held this Sunday.

HTC’s first Android 4 was exposed, however it is not Edge or Ville which has been rumored for some time. Though detail model isn’t disclosed, the design of this phone is similar to Incredible 2, so I guess it will be HTC Incredible 3.

HTC won’t release smartphone sales data since February

Posted by HTC Reviewer on February 8, 2012 in HTC Review

After Samsung, HTC won’t release smartphone sales figures released from February 2012. Before HTC announced its smart phone figure every quarter. I guess it’s because HTC got some lawsuit about patent infrigement. The release of sales data will worsen its situation.

Despite the official channel data will no longer be published, I think there is still other way to estimate the sales data.

A galaxy of S3 at the Mobile World Congress

Posted by HTC Reviewer on February 6, 2012 in Miscellaneous

Galaxy S3?So far, nothing official about the new Samsung is named flagship and not much leaked through various sources. Now it seems that would continue for a while.According to various blogs, the idea of Samsung Galaxy S3 is not as expected take place at the MWC, but later, at an event of its own from Samsung. Technical problems should be the reason for this on but none of the sources closer is received. Should that verify, a significant setback for Samsung could be, especially when taking into account the already known devices and other “firsts” expected.

Some very attractive devices of the competition could move impatient Samsung users to access a device of the other producers. Some of the known or expected heavyweights of counterparties are, for example, the HTC Ville, which is equipped with a powerful dual-core chip set and a 4.3 inch wide qHD display, and the already known Sony Xperia S, which grows with strong hardware and novel design. Not to mention even more exciting models other manufacturers. LG could even with two high-end models compete: the X 3 with four-core processor and a successor for the Optimus 3D.

Should which verify this rumor, it could have more Samsung this year, in the last year with the successful model of Galaxy s2. The Mobile World Congress is the most important and largest mobile radio fair in the market and where the ideas are often decisive for the initial success of a new smartphone.

Do you think Samsung could really miss that? Would you continue on the S3 wait or would rather switch to one of the other models?

Something struck me recently. Manufacturers seem it slowly but surely to have understood that the customer would like to have at least some security for the future. What good is the greatest Smartphone or Tablet if it gets an official update to the next version of the operating system? Certainly, there are resourceful fans and hobbyists abound on the net, but normal users will not tinker. He wants to use and participate in at best of the new features that bring new versions so often.

Just for tablets, I see a trend that have positive could effect for the customer, because many renowned manufacturers announced recently to want to offer ice cream sandwich for their tablets of the update on the current Android 4.0. From the slightly better-known Tablet manufacturers knew only ASUS to convince, then followed by Samsung and today to good last Sony – which announced an update to the Tablet S, gave this but still no date information. Good thing as I think – because who buys even a device which, perhaps, is out of date. I as a customer would be more likely to device of a company access, which in the past of the update will be a name has made her but certainly also or?
